ENGLISH FOR MEDICINE
This course focuses on the language used in the health sector. To participate you are required to showing a high intermediate English level (B2). Topics such as communication with patients and colleagues, diagnosis, recommendations, presentations, etc., as well as reading, preparation and understanding of medical reports and methods to work in seminars and conferences are discussed.
It also centres on the difficulties of English comprehension usually added to the medical profession. If a doctor, nurse or patient of any nationality (Hindu, African or Chinese) speaks fast or even with a mask, would you be able to understand him/her?

ENGLISH FOR NURSING STAFF
This course is organized in several units. The units are independent and cover a variety of topics related to nursing and professional practice ranging from the basic vocabulary of the body and the different systems, diseases and associated symptoms, to patient research, diagnosis and treatment protocols. I also teach students how to convey instructions to patients and their families in a comprehensive and clear way, especially in case of sensitive issues. The course comprises two levels from A2 to B1 and from B1 to B2. It also includes the subject matter related to the system of nurses training in the United Kingdom and the equivalences in degrees and degree of specialization.

This course aims to develop the four communication skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) in English, focusing on the specific area of tourism. This course is aimed at intermediate students (B1-B2) and aims to develop communication skills and knowledge of specific English for students and media professionals. It covers various fields related to the media, including newspapers, television and radio. Along with the specialized language, it also teaches how to write headlines or to realize commercials. The teaching material includes newspaper articles, adapted film scripts and blogs to prepare students for real life work.

This course aims to provide non-English-speaking musicians with the necessary skills to participate in musical activities where English is the main language of communication.
